Welcome, welcome to Dizzytown!
Where we smile at work and never frown.
We believe we’re good at what we do.
Come take a look and you’ll think so too!

But readers may frown . . . and giggle . . . when they find out that in Dizzytown, the wrong people are doing all the jobs!!!

This rhyming picture book with illustrations from the award-winning Patrick Corrigan, follows a young girl on her first trip to Dizzytown. Her friend shows her around, pointing out all the hard workers. Unfortunately for the residents of Dizzytown, it’s the teachers who put out fires, while sanitation workers take sick people to landfills, musicians fly airplanes, and more! Each time, the young girl exclaims, “Wait! What??” and explains who are the right people for the jobs. Children will love pointing out the discrepancies in Dizzytown, where children go to work, trucks are driven by punk rock bands, and houses are built by pumpkin-pie bakers, and delight in the young girl’s frustration that everything in Dizzytown is just very wrong!
